How creators can build a professional brand collaboration profile

Your profile is a search result before it is a portfolio. Build it accordingly.

Think like the search, not like a portfolio

Brands do not browse profiles, they filter them. Every empty structured field is a search you are excluded from before anyone reads your bio.

The fields that decide whether you appear

Complete all of these before you worry about aesthetics.

  • Categories — three focused ones, not eight vague ones
  • City and state
  • Languages you publish in
  • Every platform handle, with current follower counts
  • Audience age and gender split
  • Rate per deliverable

Write a headline that filters

'Lifestyle creator' says nothing. 'Budget skincare reviews in Hindi for oily skin' tells a brand in one line whether to keep reading — and the brands it repels were never going to book you.

Show work, not just numbers

Link two or three pieces you are proud of, ideally including one past collaboration. Brands want to see how you handle a product mention, not just your best organic post.

Protect your privacy

Keep phone numbers and personal email out of public text. On Reelsknot, contact details are only released to brands on the Premium plan and are never exposed to search engines.
