How influencers can get brand collaborations
Most creators lose deals before rates are discussed — because they were never found in the first place.

Be findable before you be persuasive
Brands search on structured fields — category, city, language, platform, audience size, engagement. If those fields are blank on your profile, no amount of pitching compensates, because you never appear in the search at all.
Fill every field honestly, then keep follower counts current. A profile that is six months stale reads as inactive.
Position narrowly
Three categories beat eight. 'Budget skincare for oily skin in humid cities' gets booked more often than 'lifestyle', because a brand can immediately see the fit.
Your headline should say what you make and for whom, in one line.
Publish your rates
Listing a rate per deliverable filters out enquiries that were never going to convert and speeds up the ones that will. Price the work — concept, shoot, edit, revision, posting — not the follower count.
Charge separately for usage rights if the brand wants to run your content as a paid ad. It is a different product.
Apply like a professional
When you apply to a brand listing, four sentences do more than four paragraphs.
- Reference the specific product, not the category
- Propose one concrete content idea
- Give the metric that makes you a fit — usually engagement, plus audience city
- State your rate for exactly the deliverables listed
Turn one deal into five
Deliver on the agreed date, send performance screenshots unprompted a week later, and propose the next idea while results are fresh. Repeat clients are how creator income becomes predictable.
